What we store

Accounts store your private account name, email, password hash, and session information. Authentication can record IP address and browser information for session security. Participation stores confirmed allocations and their history, follows, proposals, reviews, cooking notes, milestone awards, creator claims, verification checks, and creator-provided links.

What other people can see

Your handle or optional public alias, biography, Discovery, Reputation, community contributions, and verified work are public. Your private account name and email are not shown. Current picks and participation history are private unless you enable them on your profile. Each receipt has a separate public-link setting. Nominations, classification suggestions, review reasons, and cooking notes are public. Verified claims show the claimant’s public identity, disclosed relationship, creator note, and links. Safety reports and pending verification evidence are private to their author and reviewers.

Drafts and cookies

Draft picks are kept in this browser’s local storage for up to seven days. They don’t affect rankings. Essential session cookies keep you signed in. This release has no advertising cookies or third-party analytics scripts.

Product measurement

We count actions such as confirmed allocations and sharing to understand whether Lists are useful. Aggregate product events do not create Fame or improve rankings. Claimants can see aggregate referral visits, outbound clicks, shares, signup arrivals, and support conversions, but not an individual visitor history. Server security logs may contain request metadata; secrets and passwords are not intentionally logged.

Corrections and account requests

You can edit your biography and visibility settings from your profile. Use a private report for personal information that needs attention. Confirmed participation is retained for ranking integrity; any account deletion or anonymization request needs review so personal information can be separated from that record.

Before a wider launch

Registration is open and requires email verification. Self-service recovery and anti-bot protection are enabled. Privacy, account, and takedown requests can be sent to support@listoffame.io. Don’t submit sensitive information in public notes.
